Heading for the Lincoln Memorial

Many people who have never been to a demo, both black and white. They want to sing but don't know the lyrics, can't maintain a complex chant. It gives me new respect for Bayard Rustin and the effort to bring the first March into reality. Dignified, organized, disciplined.
